Bauer Consumer Media produces this magazine. The target audience for the magazine is anyone interested in most music genres as it is not specific to rock or rap etc, and it mostly provides news stories for artists rather than basing the magazine on a specific genre. It appears as a hybrid magazine and it appeals to most readers as it is a good general music magazine. The magazine costs £3.99, which is quite a lot of money for a magazine, which does not have pullouts or posters. However the content of the magazine is good and it is larger than most magazines. Compared with Kerrang, Q has almost double the amount of pages.
The magazine is published monthly in the UK and has a circulation of 89,450 as of August 2010.
