Most typefaces appearing on the magazine cover are in block capitals other than text associated with Take That. The main story cover lines are the only ones which have different fonts to the others in order to stand out. The text follows a colour scheme along with the picture on the front cover. Some text is black, matching the jackets of the group, whereas other text is gold and compliments the black colour. Other text is the same red colour to the title ‘Q’. The mixtures of colours are used to grab your attention, for instance the red text draws you in to the magazine and the gold text underneath shows the title of the topic.
