Music Magazine Cover Analysis; Kerrang! fonts and language

The fonts on the front cover are all in capital letters, bold, and often have a worn out effect on them. The fonts match well with the font of the title as the cracked and worn down theme is continued. Four simple colours are used across the cover, white, black, red and yellow. They all contrast and compliment each other across the cover, making headlines and cover lines look bolder and more attractive.

The cover is very effective at speaking to its audience, as the bold lettering and colours highlight the stories inside. The use of stars and stickers across the cover also attract attention to the magazine and shout out to the reader.

Other pictures appear underneath the word "Paramore" on the front cover and give you an insight to the story that will appear later in the magazine. The pictures advertise their "private photo album release" which will also interest readers as the words "private" and "release' often interest people. a sicker detailing a "trip to barbados to record an album" also stands out as the colours used are white, black and yellow. They contrast and draw eyes towards the sticker, and people will want to win the advertised trip, so will buy the magazine.
